CBD oil and hemp seed oil

In the beginning, it is worth explaining the difference between CBD oil and hemp seed oil. These terms are sometimes used interchangeably, and this can even be dangerous. Ingestion of too much CBD could cause, among other headaches, which is not the case for hemp seed oil.

Hemp seed oil does not contain cannabinoids. Instead, it is an oil rich in the nutrients that human body could benefit from. We will find in it, among others particularly valuable fatty acids (Omega-3 and Omega-6), vitamin E and protein. It also has an interesting, slightly nutty, but at the same time spicy taste.

CBD oil is made from hemp flowers, not seeds. It contains not only many nutrients, but also cannabinoids that act on our endocannabinoid system. It’s an excellent supplement that might support the body’s natural processes and its overall condition.

Cooking with CBD oil

Both CBD oil and hemp seed oil can be used in many dishes. Interestingly, both can be used in one meal. However, you have to consider the taste they have because they won’t be tasty in every dish. Also, there are a few other things to keep in mind, such as quantity. More information on this topic can be found at the end of the article.

Dishes with CBD oil

Proponents of cooking with CBD oil encourage you to try new flavors and play with them. However, if you do not want to accidentally waste CBD oil on a tasteless dish, you can use our suggestions.

  1. Salad addition – salads and oil are a perfect combination. Why not add CBD oil? Its herbal taste goes well with vegetables and bread.

  2. Smoothie – if you like to drink smoothies, you can sneak a few drops of CBD in it. The strong taste of fruit and other additives makes CBD oil imperceptible to you at all, but your body notices and assimilates them.

  3. On fried foods – CBD oil should not be used for frying, but it can be used to sprinkle already fried foods. It tastes good with meat.

  4. For baking – CBD oil can be an addition to baked cakes and other dishes, but be careful – the temperature must not exceed 180 degrees Celsius.

Pay attention to this!

Remember not to treat CBD oil as regular oil. There should not be more than 2-3 drops of oil in one serving. Thanks to this, the dishes will be tasty and certainly will not cause drowsiness or fatigue.

Also pay attention to what you add CBD oil to, because it can lose its properties during heat treatment. For this reason, you should not fry anything on it. However, you can add it to all cold snacks.
